Legal Translation in Sharjah
Do you need a document translated for a court, a notary or a government department in Sharjah? We produce certified legal translation between Arabic and English, working natively in both, by translators registered with the UAE Ministry of Justice — and you do not need to drive to Dubai to get it. Send your document over WhatsApp and you get a free written quote, with no obligation, before any work starts. Registration with the Ministry of Justice is federal, which is why a translation stamped by a licensed translator in Dubai is generally recognised in the same way before courts, notaries and government departments in Sharjah and the other emirates.
- Accepted in Sharjah: Ministry of Justice registration is federal, not emirate-by-emirate
- Handled remotely — send the document, collect the certified copy
- Arabic remains the language of proceedings, so the Arabic version is what the court reads
- A free written quote before anything starts, and no obligation
- Dubai-based, UAE-wide service
- Arabic & English
- Clear guidance on every document
- Direct request, no middlemen

Timing
Short personal documents are often completed the same day; typical turnaround runs about 24 to 48 hours. Large corporate sets and specialised files usually need one to two business days.

How to verify a translator is registered with the Ministry of Justice
Will a translation done in Dubai be accepted in Sharjah?
This is the question we are asked most by clients in Sharjah, and the answer is reassuring. Legal translators in the UAE are registered with the federal Ministry of Justice, not with an individual emirate. A translation carrying the stamp and signature of a licensed translator is therefore generally recognised in the same way before courts, notaries and government departments across the emirates — in Sharjah as in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
One honest caveat, and we would rather give it to you now than after you have made the trip: individual departments may still have their own formatting or attestation preferences. Where a receiving body has a specific requirement, it is sensible to confirm it before submission. Tell us which department the document is going to and we will prepare the file to match what that department expects.
What is genuinely different about a Sharjah file
Sharjah is not Dubai with a different postcode. Some of the authorities your document is destined for are the emirate's own, and they run their own routes. Private academic certificates issued in Sharjah, for example, are handled by the Sharjah Private Education Authority through its "Dalil" platform, which issues and attests in one flow rather than as separate counter visits. If you are translating a degree or a school certificate for use abroad, the order in which translation and attestation happen matters, and it is worth telling us the destination country before we start.
Tenancy matters differ too. Dubai routes rental disputes through a dedicated centre, while Sharjah runs its own rental dispute committee under its own local rules. If you are preparing a tenancy contract, a notice or supporting documents for that committee, the Arabic version is the one that will be read, and it needs to say exactly what the original says.
And the language point holds across the country: Arabic is the language of proceedings. Since the start of 2023 a narrow exception allows proceedings in English in specified cases, but only by a specific decision of the President of the Federal Judicial Council or the head of the relevant local judiciary. It is not something a party can simply request. Unless such a decision exists in your matter, plan for Arabic.
How we serve Sharjah without an office there
We will be straightforward with you: MANJAZ does not have a Sharjah office, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. We serve clients in Sharjah the way we serve clients anywhere in the UAE — remotely, and by document collection and delivery. A document does not need us to be in the same emirate to be translated correctly, stamped and returned ready to submit.
Send a clear photograph or scan over WhatsApp. We read the document, tell you what it will cost and how long it will take, and only then start. The quote is free and puts you under no obligation.
This page is general information about translation services, not legal advice. Requirements are set by the authority receiving your document and can change — always confirm with the receiving authority or ask us to check for your specific case.
